Columbia University School of Arts MFA Acting Cohort of 2026 presents Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead, a Shakespearean tragedy turned upside down, inside out, and shaken vigorously. Directed by Devin E. Haqq.

Minor characters take center stage as Rosencrantz and Guildenstern stumble through Hamlet, on their way to a fate Shakespeare has already written for them. Absurd comedy abounds as the pair of hapless heroes ponder the meaning of life (they don’t figure it out), flip coins (it’s always heads), and struggle to remember which one of them is which (they get it mostly right).
