Lenfest Kids: Fall 2026
Join us this Fall for Lenfest Kids: Time Travelers, a film series about young adventurers who leap through time—and the adventures that await them on the other side.
Movies are time machines. A flash-forward, a memory, and suddenly we're somewhere else entirely. This season, we'll ride along with kids who jump though different eras and see how each film becomes its own time capsule, carrying the fashions, jokes, and hopes of the period that made it.
This Fall's lineup: Back to the Future (1985), Marty McFly accidentally gets in the way of his parents falling in love, and threatens his own existence; Arco (2025), a boy crash-lands back to 2075 and teams up with a girl and her robot to save her world; Meet the Robinsons (2007), a young inventor time-hops in search of family; and Three Ages (1923), Buster Keaton’s directorial debut finds him chasing love across different eras in this silent classic. Whatever the century, some things never change: family and friendship are always worth the trip.
Each screening will be followed by activities in the Lenfest Lobby led by Columbia Artist/Teachers to continue the adventure through writing and play. And while you’re visiting us on the Manhattanville campus, make a day of it! Join family-friendly activities presented by Wallach Kids and the Zuckerman Institute’s Saturday Science for more opportunities to create and explore.
Hop in, buckle up, and journey with us through films that prove there's no time like the present—or the past, or the future. See you at the movies!
Sincerely,
Lauren Weigel
