Directed by Delia Dumont

Columbia University School of the Arts presents The Skriker, a directing thesis production by current student Delia Dumont and written by Caryl Churchill.

Caryl Churchill’s The Skriker is a bold, surreal, and poetic play that dives deep into themes of transformation, motherhood, and the fractured relationship between humans and the natural world. At its center is the Skriker—an ancient, shape-shifting demon who lures two young women into her uncanny realm. Blending fairy tale, psychological drama, and political allegory, Churchill’s visionary work unsettles and enchants through her signature language and fearless theatrical experimentation.
