Columbia University School of the Arts presents Quarryman, a playwriting thesis production by student Tim Lucey and directed by student Dennis Oliveira.

Set in New Hampshire during 1975, John Burton, a worker at a Coös County quarry, goes missing and a group of fellow workers and community members try to piece together what has happened.


About the Playwright

Tim Lucey is a NYC-based playwright from Massachusetts. His plays include The Bog Queen and The Orchard. He recently worked as a script assistant for Stephen Adly Guirgis on Dog Day Afternoon. Quarryman is Tim’s MFA thesis play and he is graduating from Columbia University’s School of the Arts this May.

MeeLynn Nottage, and Blair Singer, invite everyone to experience these innovative new playwrights.
