The Incredible Shrinking Man

Dir. Jack Arnold
1957 I US I Not Rated, age 10+
Runtime: 1 hour, 12 minutes

While on a boating trip, Scott Carey is exposed to a strange fog. At first, nothing happens; but soon he realizes that he is beginning to shrink, little by little, all the way down to the size of an insect. This classic 1950s sci-fi adventure blends trick photography and rear-screen projection to shrink characters down to microscopic size, giving us a new perspective on the world around us.
